Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the GoalSave browser website at https://college-save-student.cool-cool-man.chatgpt.site. If you are under 18, read them with a parent or guardian.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be located in the United States and at least 13 to use GoalSave. GoalSave does not offer a parental-consent program for children under 13. Users ages 13–17 may use its educational tools, but a parent or legal guardian must review and approve a purchase when the student cannot legally enter the purchase agreement. You may use Google, email and password, or a temporary anonymous device session. Keep account credentials secure and provide accurate information.

2. What GoalSave provides

GoalSave provides educational budgeting, manual transaction tracking, monthly budgets, savings goals, subscription tracking, financial-literacy lessons, weekly check-ins, and optional motivation features. It does not connect to a bank, hold or move money, invest, lend, report credit, submit financial-aid or scholarship applications, or pay tuition.

3. Educational use only

GoalSave provides general education and organization tools. It is not a bank, lender, investment adviser, tax adviser, legal adviser, fiduciary, or financial-aid adviser. Calculations and suggestions depend on information you enter and may be incomplete. They do not guarantee savings, college admission, financial aid, or any financial result.

4. Device mode

Device mode uses an anonymous session and browser storage. It is temporary, cannot purchase or restore paid access, and may become inaccessible if cookies or site data are cleared, the browser is reset, or the device is lost. Protect progress with Google or email before purchasing.

5. Monthly Access

Monthly Access costs exactly $2.99 USD per month, automatically renews every month until canceled, and has no free trial. Stripe charges the selected payment method only after the purchaser confirms the transaction in Stripe’s hosted checkout. Taxes may apply.

Cancel through Manage or cancel subscription in Profile, which opens Stripe’s customer portal. Cancellation prevents future renewals, and access ordinarily continues through the paid billing period. Deleting app information or the GoalSave account does not cancel Monthly Access.

6. Lifetime Access

Lifetime Access costs exactly $29.99 USD as a one-time payment, does not renew, and has no free trial. “Lifetime Access” means access for as long as GoalSave continues to operate as a supported service. It does not guarantee that every current feature will remain unchanged. GoalSave will honor remedies required by applicable consumer law if the service is discontinued or materially changed.

7. Payments, refunds, and purchase restoration

Stripe processes payment methods, checkout, subscriptions, invoices or receipts, fraud checks, taxes as configured, and billing management under its own terms and privacy practices. GoalSave receives identifiers and status needed to verify access, but not complete card numbers. Purchases are subject to refunds and remedies required by applicable law. Report duplicate, unauthorized, or mistaken charges to goalsavesupport@gmail.com and through the Stripe receipt or billing portal. Purchase restoration uses verified Stripe records associated with the GoalSave account used for checkout.

8. Information you enter

You are responsible for checking manually entered information against actual account statements and provider terms. Do not enter passwords, full card numbers, government IDs, another person’s confidential information, or unlawful content. Marking a subscription “canceled” inside GoalSave does not cancel it with the subscription provider.

9. Acceptable use

Do not violate law or another person’s rights; access another person’s account; bypass payment, age, guardian, CAPTCHA, authentication, or security controls; introduce malicious code; disrupt or probe the service without permission; impersonate another person; use stolen payment information; or use GoalSave to provide regulated financial or legal services to others.

10. Availability and changes

GoalSave may be unavailable during maintenance, provider outages, security response, or events beyond reasonable control. Features may be fixed, improved, added, removed, or changed, but GoalSave will not use changes to avoid paid-access promises or rights that cannot legally be waived. Any future monthly-price change will be disclosed in advance and will follow applicable consent and cancellation requirements.

11. Ending use and account controls

You may export information, reset budgeting data, request account deletion, or stop using GoalSave. Resetting budgeting data keeps the login and verified purchase. Account deletion may retain limited billing, consent, tax, security, fraud, or dispute records when reasonably necessary or required by law. Neither action cancels Monthly Access. GoalSave may suspend access when reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, nonpayment, security risks, or legal requirements.

12. Intellectual property and your content

GoalSave’s software, interface, lessons, graphics, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Subject to these Terms and your access status, GoalSave grants you a personal, limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the service for lawful educational purposes. You retain rights in information you enter and permit GoalSave to host, process, secure, back up, export, and display it only as needed to operate the service, follow your instructions, and comply with law.

13. Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or waives rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived, including applicable rights involving minors, automatic renewals, refunds, privacy, accessibility, or unfair practices. To the extent permitted by law, GoalSave is provided “as is” and “as available” without a promise that estimates will be accurate or that service will always be uninterrupted.

14. Privacy and third-party services

The Privacy Policy explains GoalSave’s information practices and choices. Supabase, Google, Stripe, Cloudflare Turnstile, and the hosting and email-delivery providers have their own terms and privacy practices.
